The job itself
This role is based within the Targeted Services Business Support Team, supporting the Making a Change and Intensive Family Support Teams. These teams provide high level support to young people and families, including those at risk for criminal and/or sexual exploitation, with an aim to provide integrated children’s services and multi-agency response working closely with the Police and other external agencies.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, self-motivated and confident individual to join a busy administration team providing a wide range of administrative support including minute taking for several different meetings, maintaining locality agendas, collating data, covering reception, dealing with queries, processing invoices and orders and other administrative support as required.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and committed to providing a quality service, have a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to a changing environment. To undertake this role successfully you will need to be customer focused, able to work easily within a challenging environment, have excellent administrative and organisational skills and have the motivation and desire to achieve a high-quality service. You should be able to demonstrate effective use of a range of ICT systems and software packages.
As well as a high level of customer service, the ability to maintain confidentiality and to deal with highly sensitive information is paramount. Teamwork plays a vital role as does the ability to meet deadlines and work on your own initiative.
This is a great opportunity to have an insight into Children Young People Support and Safeguarding Services and the invaluable support we provide for families in the East Riding.
