About the Role
The Thrive 0‑15 team works with children from 0 to 15 years of age whose care plan is to achieve permanency via adoption or long‑term care. As a Senior Social Worker you will develop good relationships with children and young people, support their care plans, safeguard and help them to achieve their best potential. You will also work with unaccompanied asylum‑seeking children and be supported to develop your skills and knowledge in completing age assessments.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain good relationships with children and young people, supporting them to achieve their best potential.
* Allocate and manage children and young people, caring for their care plans, safeguarding and overall development.
* Collaborate with the team to provide holistic support to children and families.
* Work with unaccompanied asylum‑seeking children and support skill development in completing age assessments.
Qualifications
* Social Work England registered social worker.
* Professional social work qualification or equivalent.
* Significant demonstrable experience working within a busy social work service.
Working Conditions
Hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week based in the office.

£52,277 – £57,509 (including LW and MS) per year
