GSL Education is seeking a committed and creative SEN Teacher to work at a specialist school in Tower Hamlets. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8.30am–4.00pm, teaching students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
What the Role Involves:
Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons designed to meet a wide range of learning needs.
Creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
Leading a team of Learning Support Assistants to provide consistent, high-quality support.
Monitoring pupil progress carefully and adapting teaching methods where needed.
Promoting both academic achievement and social development.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience working with SEN pupils, preferably in a special school setting.
Strong ability to manage behaviour positively and adapt strategies to suit each child.
A caring, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Availability to work full-time, Monday–Friday, 8.30am–4.00pm.
Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
