Moore Concretes Apprenticeship Programme offers students studying various levels of apprenticeships a platform to upskill, develop their knowledge, and gain relevant work experience alongside their studies. We provide an on-site Apprentice Mentor for unlimited support and quarterly reviews to understand their learning progress and tailor support to enhance their technical abilities.
We are currently recruiting HLA Civil Engineering or Foundation Degree Construction Engineering with Surveying apprentices to join our growing team. This role aims to help students develop their skills within the business, aligning with their academic pursuits. Apprentices will participate in a rotation plan across different departments, broadening their career options and development opportunities.
By participating in a Higher Level Apprenticeship, you will gain practical skills in civil engineering and start your career in the industry.

Hours of Work:
Hours vary between 32 to 48 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, from 06:00am to 15:00pm or 08:00am to 17:00pm. Flexibility for overtime and Saturdays is essential. Please inform HR of your preferred days for college/university day release.
Responsibilities:
* Bring high-quality and efficient approaches to all processes.
* Apply skills learned in education to improve processes and collaborate with management.
* Drive continuous improvement of quality systems and ensure project compliance.
* Represent the company professionally with clients.
* Participate in projects from conception to completion.
* Assess and understand project requirements.
Essential Criteria:
* Willingness to learn and upskill
* Studying or applying to study a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Understanding of Health & Safety at work
* Flexibility and adaptability in working hours
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Proficiency in written and spoken English
Desirable Criteria:
* Previous work experience
* Ability to read technical/construction drawings
* Experience with hand, air, and power tools
* Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) awareness
