Forklift Driver - Permanent Role
Basildon, Essex | £13.85 per hour | Monday to Friday
We are recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a growing logistics, distribution, and supply chain operation in Basildon. This is a permanent opportunity within a business that is actively expanding and investing in its people.
Working a rotating early and late shift, you will play a key role in keeping goods moving efficiently and safely across the warehouse operation.
What you will be doing:
Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles
Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
Completing relevant paperwork and system checks
Supporting general warehouse and housekeeping standards
Undertaking manual handling tasks as required
What we are looking for:
A valid counterbalance forklift licence
Experience in logistics distribution and supply chain
At least 1 year's forklift experience (groupage experience preferred)
Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on role
Ability to pass a DBS check
Full UK driving licence
