The ideal candidate will be diagnosing and resolving hardware faults and issues within access control systems. You will be configuring, maintaining, and supporting access control applications, to ensure seamless integration with CCTV, intruder, and intercom systems. You will also be assisting in the commissioning of integrated fire and security systems on live projects.
This role would suit an access control hardware technician, with experience in the fire and security industry, looking to join a company who offer an employee ownership scheme and inhouse training for specific software.
The Role:
Diagnosing and resolving hardware faults and incidents.
Configure, maintain, and support Gallagher Access Control applications to ensure seamless integration with CCTV, intruder, and intercom systems
Support and assist the commissioning of integrated fire and security systems on live projects
Managing patching, updates, backups, and system security in line with best practice and company policies
Ensure compliance with IT security standards, GDPR, and data protection regulations
Liaising with external providers and vendors when escalating complex issues or managing third-party systems
The Person:
Experience in a hardware technician role in the fire and security industry
Full UK driving licence
Ability to obtain SC clearance
