About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Buyer Operations Manager to support the successful delivery of RX Global Travel events, including IBTM, ILTM, WTM and ATM. This is a varied dual-role position combining buyer recruitment and relationship management with digital platform and event systems coordination.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, managing and hosting buyers, while also overseeing the set-up and configuration of event management systems, web CMS, mobile apps, registration forms and attendee portals across the full event lifecycle. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, buyers and partners to ensure systems run smoothly and every touchpoint delivers a seamless, reliable and engaging experience.

Responsibilities
1. Manage and configure SaaS (Hosted Buyer) platforms to support event delivery requirements
2. Coordinate platform setup, registration processes and system delivery across event lifecycles
3. Act as a central liaison to align stakeholders on requirements, timelines and progress
4. Support system integrations, testing (UAT) and continuous platform improvements
5. Identify, log and escalate system issues, collaborating with development teams on solutions
6. Deliver clear and consistent reporting to support decision-making and performance tracking
7. Contribute to buyer recruitment strategies, building strong industry relationships and pipelines
8. Manage buyer communications, database activity and event admin to ensure a smooth customer experience
Requirements
9. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach
10. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
11. Experience using data, systems or CRM/database platforms (. Excel, Smartsheet or similar)
12. Comfortable working with digital platforms, systems or process improvements
13. Ability to analyse information and use data to support decision-making
14. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering a positive experience
15. Proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
16. Relevant experience in events, recruitment, operations or digital systems (degree or equivalent experience welcomed)
