A rare opportunity for a Music Teacher to lead performance and creativity in a city-based school
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Music Teacher to join a well-established department that plays a central role in the school’s curriculum and wider life. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, with the possibility of A-Level or BTEC Music Performance teaching for the right candidate.
The Music department is exceptionally well resourced, boasting two large teaching rooms, multiple practice spaces, an Apple Mac suite, and a soundproof recording studio. The school hosts termly concerts, annual musical theatre productions, and frequently collaborates with professional musicians and local venues. It also maintains partnerships with local youth orchestras and choirs, offering a wide scope for musical enrichment.
Experience and Qualifications
• A degree in Music and QTS (PGCE, Schools Direct, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Music at secondary level, including KS4
• Strong knowledge of Music Technology and contemporary pedagogy
• Ability to lead ensembles, choirs, and performances
• Must hold the right to work in the UK
