Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a rapidly growing manufacturer specializing in carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies for leading aircraft and aero engine producers. Our facility features some of Europe's most advanced machining technology, including multi-axis NDT robotic machines, automated material cutting, and CNC machining centres. We are recognized as a leading supplier in composites, committed to continuous growth and innovation.

Job Purpose:
You will conduct thorough inspections of aerospace components to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines, playing a key role in maintaining safety and product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed inspections and quality control checks on aerospace parts and materials.
* Assist with concession and First Article Inspection measurements (AS9102).
* Record inspection findings accurately and maintain detailed documentation of results, defects, and non-conformities.
* Collaborate across functions to identify, resolve, and prevent quality issues through corrective actions.
* Investigate root causes of quality issues and work with teams to implement solutions.
* Communicate inspection results and quality issues to stakeholders.
* Authorize release certifications to customers.
* Manage material booking and release.
* Utilize inspection and measuring equipment, including verniers, micrometers, and approved CMMs.
* Maintain records and documents using computer systems.
* Ensure compliance with internal and external quality audits.
* Adhere to all company guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Indentured apprenticeship - Essential
* Formal engineering qualification - Desirable
* Inspection/QA experience - Essential
* Knowledge of ISO and customer quality management systems - Desirable
* Experience in composite manufacturing - Desirable
