Location: Rochester, Kent - ME1 2XX
Hours: 24 hours per week / Shift Times - 7-7 (Days, Nights & Weekends)
Pay: £13.65 per hour
Must be a British citizen by birth, or have held a British passport for at least 5 years

What Does a Security Officer Do?
Security Officers play a vital role in protecting people, property, and information. They act as a visual deterrent, prevent unauthorized access, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond to incidents and emergencies. This position helps ensure the safety and security of premises 24/7.
Key Responsibilities:
* Patrol and monitor premises to deter and detect security breaches
* Manage access control and verify ID for staff, visitors, and contractors
* Respond quickly to alarms and emergencies in a calm, effective manner
* Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
* Conduct regular internal and external security checks
* Operate CCTV and other monitoring equipment
* Enforce site-specific procedures and health & safety regulations
* Support protection of classified materials and sensitive infrastructure
* Liaise with emergency services and site management as needed
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
* Must be a British citizen by birth, or have held a British passport for at least 5 years
* Hold a valid SIA licence
* Must be able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
* 5-year checkable work history is required
* Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
