Project Manager £55,000-£60,000 plus car and benefits package Based Cheshire Our client is a large and very successful company involved in the production and supply of a diverse range of high quality sand and related products for a variety of sectors throughout the UK. The business has a strong brand and due to continued expansion, the Directors now wish to recruit a capable and experienced Project Manager to oversee a substantial capital expenditure programme over the next 10 years and beyond. Some of the technical duties and experiences required for success include: Create and develop detailed project plans, define tasks, set schedules, assign resources and oversee the execution of project plans. Co-ordinate the completion of documentation across multiple projects: including requirements, agendas, notes and actions. Co-ordinate site activities with commissioning, technical and site staff. Maintain effective communication with sub-contractors and suppliers. Liaise with the production team to ensure smooth operations and processes. Identify potential risks, assess their impact and develop mitigation strategies to minimise their likelihood and impact. Maintain communication with stakeholders across the business including divisional and Group Boards and senior management, keeping them informed about progress, issues and changes. Monitor project progress, tracking key milestones and take corrective action when necessary to ensure the project is on track and within budget. Responsible for managing each project budget, ensuring it is completed within the allocated resources. Implement quality control processes to ensure that deliverables meet agreed standards. Act as a central point of communication, ensuring that information flows effectively. Ensure all site rules and Health & safety standards are observed.
