Construction Manager
This morning, I have been tasked with finding a Construction Manager to lead a large refurbishment on a healthcare project in St Albans.
The project is valued at £17m and involves internal refurbishment of trade packages and MEP works internally. There is an MEP team based on site. Your task will be to lead the project and sequence a safe area to work.
Responsibilities
* Attending and contributing to contractor pre-start meetings.
* Attending and contributing to design team meetings.
* Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes.
* Attending safe start meetings.
* Approving RAMS.
* Attending DAB meetings and contributing to discussions on coordination with other trades.
* If necessary, chairing meetings and issuing DAB reports to all team members.
* Enforcing H&S on site.
* Identifying potential problems and offering buildability solutions.
* Engaging with the supply chain and other team members.
