My client is looking for an experienced Digital Content Editor to enhance the performance and impact of their website content.
In this role, you will leverage data insights to guide decisions regarding content creation, updates, and retirement. Your focus will be on ensuring that all pages and sections of the site are accurate, easily discoverable, and in line with business objectives, including SEO and regional targets, while maintaining the appropriate brand voice.
You will collaborate closely with teams in SEO, analytics, and marketing to identify areas for performance improvement, optimize content based on measurable results, and ensure that each page contributes to overall traffic growth, user engagement, and conversion goals. Additionally, you will coordinate content production and updates with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring consistency and user-focused content across the site. This will involve managing AI-driven content tools, working with content production partners, or even providing copywriting support when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular audits of website content to ensure all pages are complete, relevant, and performing effectively.
* Oversee the management of AI content tools and external content production partners.
* Support the marketing team with copywriting requests and ad-hoc brand content updates.
* Ensure all web content aligns with business objectives and maintains a consistent brand voice.
* Utilize data insights (traffic, engagement, rankings, conversion metrics) to identify and prioritize content optimization opportunities.
* Collaborate with the SEO team to implement targeted content optimizations aimed at improving visibility and performance.
* Define new content requirements based on data trends, audience behavior, and search patterns.
* Work with cross-functional teams, including email marketing and commercial teams, to support campaign and partnership content.
* Edit and maintain content created by AI tools, freelancers, and agencies, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Manage and optimize a company blog, using data to guide topic selection, posting frequency, and performance analysis.
* Coordinate with freelance writers, PR teams, and content editors to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
* Use reporting tools to assess content performance and provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
* Promote an AI-first approach to content production, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and scalability.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a content or SEO editing role with a focus on performance and analytics.
* Ability to adapt writing style to match different brand voices.
* Strong understanding of SEO principles, search intent, and on-page optimization.
* Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools.
* Ability to analyze data and translate insights into clear, actionable content strategies.
* Experience managing content updates within a CMS (Content Management System).
* Strong attention to detail and editorial accuracy.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align teams around content goals.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
