Pay Rate: £13.68 per hour

Balfor Recruitment is seeking Children’s Support Workers to join our residential services in Walsall supporting children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties, and complex needs.
. In this rewarding role, you’ll be supporting children with:
1. Autism
2. Learning Disabilities (LD)
3. Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
4. Complex needs
You’ll help create a safe, nurturing home environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered.
What We’re Looking For
We want compassionate leaders who put children at the centre of everything they do.
Requirements:
5. Minimum 1 year’s experience working with children (senior role preferred)
6. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
7. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
8. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills
10. Experience supporting children with Autism, challenging behaviours, or self-harm risks
Key Responsibilities
11. Develop and deliver personalised care plans
12. Act as a Key Worker, attending reviews and setting goals
13. Provide emotional, social, and behavioural support
14. Ensure safeguarding and care standards are consistently met
15. Create an inclusive, safe, and positive home environment
16. Maintain accurate records and incident reporting
