Overview
We have a permanent Fabric Engineer position working for one of the leading innovators of therapy solutions. The site is home to over 750 employees and 125,000 square feet. Our client has an on site team of engineers which cover all aspects of facilities maintenance on site from electrical, mechanical and fabric. This role includes reactive and planned maintenance, keeping site logbooks up to date as well as liaising with clients and management. Responsibilities
* Overseeing and arranging all fabric related tasks on the site
* Stepping in for the fabric manager in their absence and sharing the workload of the site
* Ensuring all allocated activities are completed to cost, timescales and appropriate quality standards as required
* Assisting with any engineering needs that may arise on site
* Overseeing small works projects and liaising with specialist contractors
* Managing the client accordingly and keeping them up to date with site developments
Qualifications
* NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery or Painting & Decorating (desirable but not essential)
* Experienced in dealing with clients
* Excellent team working, customer care and problem-solving capabilities
