We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder from our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Derby. The right candidate will be eager to develop their skills and knowledge in Engineering. In return we can offer long‑term career progression, a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
We are looking for an approachable and self‑motivated individual, with a desire to learn and progress, a good attendance and timekeeper, and live within a commutable distance.
You must have a minimum of grade 4 in GCSE English and Maths and will ideally hold (or be working towards) a full, UK driving license.
As well as working full‑time with us, you will work towards a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
On a day‑to‑day basis the successful applicant will be working within the fabrication and welding side of the business, under the wing of several department heads:
* Welding
* Fabrication
* Fitting and assembly
* Inspection
Other training provided includes abrasive wheels and crane courses. Manual handling training will be offered, applicants must be physically fit due to the nature of the role.
