As the Student Engagement Officer and an active member of the Student Experience Team, you will lead on delivering a vibrant and inclusive enrichment offer for all students, with a particular focus on launching and coordinating the Duke of Edinburgh's Award as a new, cross-college initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to embed a nationally recognised programme into the student experience, helping to build resilience, confidence, and wider personal development. Day to day duties of the role Supporting, promoting, and increasing engagement with the Students' Union and cross college enrichment activities which incorporate Active Weston (sports enrichment) and Duke of Edinburgh. This includes improving student and apprentices' ability to access activities and all opportunities are effectively promoted. Act as a student contact point for information, advice, and guidance relatingto all student enrichment and Students' Union related matters. Lead of Duke of Edinburgh, an enrichment opportunity for learners at each campus, by providing regular sessions along with managing their award progress. Providing an extensive range of enrichment and wider opportunities for students to be actively involved in all aspects of college life and the wider community, including the college fundraising week where money is raised for charity.
