Manager – Systems Risk & Controls Manager - Systems Risk & Controls Location – London/Dublin Hybrid - 2 days per week (Dublin only) Permanent About CFO Flutter consists of two commercial divisions (FanDuel and International) and our central Flutter Functions; COO, Finance & Legal. What you’ll do The Systems Risk & Controls team is part of the Global Finance Technology, BI & Innovation Department working with the various Finance Technology teams, as well as the Internal Controls Assurance and Internal Controls Transformation teams to support adherence to the Flutter governance framework and SOX controls. Working as part of the Global Finance transformation programme, the team work across IT controls implementation, assurance, remediation and transformation. The Systems Risk & Control team’s overall role is to facilitate a strong controls environment across the Finance Technology tech stack. This is achieved through four separate workstreams to ultimately facilitate ongoing controls adherence to SOX standards, along with other standards such as ISO27001. Namely: supporting the Finance Tech teams through audit, enabling a controls assurance function for the teams, implementing governance standards and driving deficiency remediations, and leading IT controls transformation projects. In this role the successful candidate will own the team looking after IT Controls transformation for the Finance Technology systems. They will be responsible for leading and managing Finance Tech IT Controls transformation projects on “as is” systems, as well as working alongside the Internal Controls Transformation team on ITGCs for new systems under the transformation programme. The main aim objective is to ensure compliance of IT controls for both existing and new systems, and that controls are standardised and appropriate, whilst bringing efficiencies to the systems team where possible. Lead controls governance work for Finance Technology Systems as part of the Finance Transformation Programme alongside the Internal Controls Transformation team and various Finance Technical teams. For systems implemented as part of the transformation programme, support technical teams on controls assurance, maintenance of controls documentation, and implement audit management framework. For existing systems, manage projects to transform existing controls, or implement controls framework. Identify, where possible, efficiencies, streamlining, and standardisation with controls can be implemented. Build and manage relationships with teams relating to control activities. Drive work across the team on generating and maintaining high standard quality controls documentation. How you’ll do it Skills & experience required 2 years project management experience in a corporate environment, ideally in an audit or governance role. 2 years IT governance, IT controls management, or audit experience in enterprise environments. Internal Controls or IT audit experience with knowledge of SOX controls is a nice to have. Organised and have the ability to prioritise: there will be a lot of moving pieces of work due to the systems in scope. Strong communication skills with the ability to succinctly report and update management Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Ability to build positive working relationships within the business.
