About the Role As HR Advisor, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, supporting on a broad range of HR processes. You’ll gain exposure to employee relations cases, projects, and policy work, with guidance and support from the HR Manager. Your key responsibilities will include: Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, providing practical and professional advice. Supporting managers with employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, probation, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives. Administering and developing our HR systems (HRIS & appraisal platform) to ensure smooth and efficient processes. Coordinating graduate and apprentice programmes from onboarding through qualification. Supporting HR projects that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and the overall employee experience. Assisting with HR policy development and updates, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice. Gaining exposure to employee relations matters (absence, capability, performance, etc.), working with the HR Manager to build your confidence and experience in this area. About You We’re looking for someone who is passionate about developing their HR career and providing a proactive, value-add service. You’ll be CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards it), with previous HR experience in an advisory or coordination role. You’ll also bring: Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage your own workload. A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice. Confidence in working with stakeholders across different levels of the business. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Experience with HR systems and solid IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
