Duties of the Workshop Controller position:
10. Leading and supervising the workshop to ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
11. Allocating jobs to technicians based on skill sets and workload priorities
12. Coaching and developing team members to enhance customer service and technical skills
13. Supporting technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs
14. Overseeing job card completion, quality control, and accurate invoicing information
15. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and first-time fix rates
16. Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional workshop environment
17. Acting as a key liaison between the front-of-house team and workshop operations
Requirements of this Workshop Controller position:
18. Proven experience in a workshop supervisory role or as a senior technician
19. Strong technical knowledge with the ability to coach others
20. Technician and MOT experience is desirable but not essential
21. Excellent organisational and leadership skills
22. Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to quality service
23. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively
24. A proactive approach and a team-focused mindset
