An insight to Marketing
The purpose of this role is to implement effective marketing strategies to enhance the promotion of the companys services and brand to promote financial growth. The role will involve reviewing and monitoring industry trends to identify potential opportunities .
The role will include ongoing social media management and promotion, maximising client experience and ensuring the brand image is consistent across all areas of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute a short term and long-term marketing strategy
Market FCLG in line with the companies ethos, mission and principles
Increase marketing touch points with existing clients, these must be effective and of value
Use marketing techniques to reach prospective new customers
Generate new leads through well thought out marketing material and sensible approaches
Increase FCLGs presence within the local communities
Develop and oversee the digital and social media strategy and policy ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand image and values
Create and upload all content for social media platforms using connections and tagging to increase social media presence and interaction
Create the layout and designs for the company website and liaise with the IT Development team to facilitate these updates and changes, consideration may need to be given to client branding
Create internal and external newsletter/comms ensuring these include relevant and valuable content
Create brand awareness and look at opportunities to promote in relevant media trade associations, trade press
Work with the team of Directors to support with Client Relationship Management and meetings
Work with the Head of HR to improve recruitment branding and adverts enabling us to attract a wider talent pool of potential candidates
Review our current customer experience (at both sites) and explore ways to enhance this through communication, marketing and branding
Ensure the customer experience is delivered at the highest level and is consistent across all touchpoints
Monitor brand perception and implement strategies to continue to enhance brand reputation in the market
Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities
Track and present competitor activity to Directors
Create a branding to be used on all external communications Re brand presentation templates and tender documents ensuring these are delivered to a high specification to enhance the eligibility of new business opportunities
Essential & desirable skills:
Excellent project management skills managing multiple projects ensuring quality of work and that deadlines are met.
Strong analytical skills to ensure decisions are data driven
Experience using Adobe creative suite including photoshop, illustrator and InDesign
Self-motivated and able to develop strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Excellent knowledge of marketing principles and strategies including branding expertise and understanding the brand identity and ensuring designs align with this
Skills in creating engaging content
Creative thinking and ideas driven
Familiarity with web design principles and layout.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a marketing role
Bachelors degree in marketing or CIM qualification is desirable
Working hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (Part-time hours may be considered)
Location: Avonbury Business Park, Bicester, OX26 2UA
Holiday entitlement: 24 days (increasing by one day after two years service to a maximum of 29 days) plus bank holidays
