Applications are invited for the post of Maintenance and Performance Manager in the Estates Department. The position is based in Egham, Surrey but will also have input into the operation of our central London campus.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Head of Maintenance Services in developing the University’s Campus Maintenance Services Team, advising on MEP and building related issues, and overseeing the DLT and external contractors.
* Set and review service KPIs, SLAs and produce dashboards aligned with the RH2030s strategy.
* Ensure all policy, procedures and systems of work are legally compliant, current, and effectively communicated.
* Drive continuous service improvement by setting standards and managing the quality, performance and delivery of both reactive and planned activity of the in-house and outsourced maintenance teams.
* Act as the main point of contact for ensuring best practice, Healthy and Safety policies are always adhered to and further develop the operational team and associated processes.
* Liaise with the Service Desk to ensure correct and timely allocation of tasks, maintaining communication between the Maintenance Department and internal customers.
* Deliver a professional, customer‑focused Campus Maintenance Team that is well‑consulted and effectively communicated, reporting on performance against KPIs, SLAs and dashboards.
* Participate in the Duty Manager rota for out‑of‑normal‑hours emergencies.
* Implement and develop EDI initiatives and policies.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a full working knowledge and experience in the implementation and development of EDI initiatives and policies. Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities management environment is desirable.
