Oil & Gas Trading Technology Transformation Senior Business Analyst – London based Energy Trading House
Global asset backed energy/commodity trading house seeks an experienced Technology Transformation Oil, Gas & Biofuels Trading Transformation Senior Business Analyst to join their London Global HQ.
Working in their Energy Trading Technology Team (focused on Oil, Natural Gas and BioFuels Trading), you’ll work in an internal consultant role, working on a range of IT transformation projects/programmes, principally for the London (their global HQ) trading desk but also working with trading desks in Singapore and Houston in particular as well.
This is a London based role, so it is essential that you are able to work on average 3 days per week in their Central London HQ, with 2 days per week working remotely (from home).
You will ideally be already based in London, settled with a relevant passport or visa that allows you to live and work in the UK indefinitely but my client will sponsor your UK visa and relocate the successful candidate to London if they are exceptional.
My client is working on a global Endur ETRM/CTRM system (version 23), so the successful Senior Business Analyst, will ideally have some exposure to Endur or other major E/CTRM systems (CXL, Allegro, Aspect, Aligne, Entrade, Trinity etc), as the role will involve some Endur upgrade, but the majority of the role will be focused on technology transformation, including working on an immediate global cloud transformation project based from London.
Salary: £75-95k basic + bonus + benefits
Key skills sought:
* Proven Energy or Commodity Trading experience (preferably Oil, Natural Gas or BioFuels Trading) working as a management consultant on technology transformations and/or E/CTRM implementations
* Previous external IT/management consulting experience is highly sought working for a Big 4 or related tier one consultancy (NOT coming from a low end IT consultancy), although you could have worked in a similar internal consulting role for another energy trading house
* This is a senior position so needs someone with a proven track record working in a senior management consultant or BA role and can work autonomously and help the Trading Technology VP manage and mentor the team
* Bright and degree educated ideally in Computer Science or a relevant discipline
