About The Role
Please note: This role is for Full Time, either 33 or 44 hours per week, and must be flexible to cover both days and nights on a seven-day rota.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. This role involves planning and delivering care that promotes security, dignity, and independence for our residents. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your colleagues. Your duties may include demonstrating how to use mobility aids, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, all carried out with kindness.
In collaboration with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and maintain accurate records. A Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. The key qualities we seek are positive energy, good communication, and effective time management.
