REED Procurement and Supply Chain is supporting a well-established manufacturing organisation in West Yorkshire with the recruitment of a Procurement Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking and ever-growing team!
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Stock and Inventory Control
* Liaise with suppliers regarding orders and also to negotiate best prices
* Support SLT with end to end vendor management process
* Analysis of data, identifying key trends and reporting back to SLT
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure goods are progressed through the supply chain in a timely manner
* Responsible for managing a small team
* Any ad hoc duties required to support the day to day running of the business
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Minimum of 3 years’ (recent) experience working in a similar role
* CIPS / MCIPS qualification would be advantageous
* Highly organised
* Strong negotiation skills
* Excellent communicator
* Solution focused
* Able to work to deadlines
This position is full time and will be fully office based. Hours will be Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (some flexibility).
Some international travel will be required as part of this role, 2- 3 times per year.
