The ChristianaCare GI Practice at Brinton Lake in Glen Mills, PA is looking for a Registered Nurse to join its growing team.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Job Highlights
* Provides telephone and in-person triage support and patient education.
* Answers and responds to telephone messages under the direction of the provider.
* Assists providers in examinations or procedures.
* Functions as a liaison between patients, physicians, and staff to provide accurate communication.
* Supports the work of LPN and/or MA.
* Assists with staff education and evaluation of clinical competencies for new and existing employees (MA & LPN).
* Assists with orientation of new personnel to ensure that they are properly trained to support patient and provider.
* Performs chart audits or has designee assist with chart audits.
* Randomly shadows clinical support staff to ensure appropriate care is provided.
* Supports the site by acting as the liaison for JCAHO, POCT, Tracer monitor for Safe Practice Behavior Monitoring (SPBM) tools & JCAHO Tracers.
* Administration of medications, monitoring of vital signs, and performing routine treatments and procedures prescribed by the physician when needed.
* Keeps current with policies and procedures and participates in quality improvement activities.
* Participates in special projects.
Potential for as-needed coverage to support other practice at the Havertown, PA location.
Education and Experience Requirements
* A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
* RN license or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
* BLS certification.
* Two years’ experience as an RN; physician office experience preferred.
* BSN preferred; ADN considered with agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years.
Hourly Pay Range: $38.22 - $61.16
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
