We're looking for an experienced and forward‑thinking Head of Supply Chain to lead the end‑to‑end supply chain function across our manufacturing operations. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and help us deliver high‑quality products efficiently, sustainably, and at scale.
What You'll Lead
Strategic Supply Chain Development
Develop and deliver a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with our operational and business objectives.
Continuously improve processes to boost efficiency, reduce cost, and meet customer demand.
Champion the rollout of our operations system and future digital integrations.
Use data and systems insight to drive organisation‑wide efficiencies.
Team Leadership & Culture
Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing supply chain team.
Drive a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Support professional development and recognise outstanding performance.
Foster an inclusive, positive environment where people feel valued.
Procurement Management
Oversee procurement to ensure timely, cost‑effective sourcing of materials and services.
Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate favourable, ethical contracts.
Monitor supplier performance and address quality, delivery, and cost issues.
Work with suppliers and the procurement team to reduce carbon impact across the supply chain.
Planning & Logistics
Lead production and project planning to ensure seamless delivery.
Collaborate with department heads to optimise customer fulfilment.
Work with Sales and Production to reduce yard stock levels.
Stores & Inventory
Optimise stock holding and improve storage and booking‑out processes.
Reduce stock obsolescence and minimise labour downtime.
Customer Care
Take ownership of customer care issues, balancing factory workloads with rectification needs.
What You'll Bring
Proven supply chain experience within modular, off‑site, or manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of factory operations, procurement strategy, and supplier development.
Experience implementing supply chain systems across multi‑site operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts, and negotiations.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and digital supply chain tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, production‑focused setting.
Desirable Qualifications
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
CIPS qualification (preferred).
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or industrialised manufacturing.
