HLTA – Higher Level Teaching Assistant

This Loughton Based School is looking for a confident and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a positive school community, with the role running until July and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Start Date: ASAP (interviews taking place as soon as possible)
• Contract: Until July, with potential to become permanent
• Pay: £105–£160 per day (depending on experience)
• Leading whole-class learning when required, supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering planned lessons, and providing targeted pupil support
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment

Holds HLTA status or has significant experience working towards HLTA level
• Has experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting
• Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Is flexible, proactive, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
