As an RE Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and school ethos. Encouraging pupils to explore religious beliefs, practices, and ethical issues with an open mind. Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning. Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning environment. Contributing to wider school activities, including assemblies and cross-curricular initiatives. To be successful as an RE Teacher, you should: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS. Have experience teaching RE across Key Stages. Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Religious Education. Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate teaching. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
