8. Qualifications: at least a Level 4 Diploma in Building Control, ONC/HNC in Building, a construction-related or building control degree, and/or Membership of RICS or ABE
9. Strong knowledge of relevant building legislation and regulations
10. Ability to assess plans and drawings accurately
11. Experience in site inspections and on-call rota for dangerous structures
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Diligent, proactive, with attention to detail
14. Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
15. Full UK/EU Driving Licence
16. Experience with Local Authorities
