About the Role Start Date: September 2026 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Location: Vale of Glamorgan Pay Rate: From £172.98 per day (paid to scale) This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified teachers to develop their classroom practice, build confidence, and make a real difference in children's education. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and creating a positive learning environment where all learners can thrive. Key Responsibilities Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners. Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and motivate pupils. Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress effectively. Promote positive behaviour and uphold school policies. – Set a good example! Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil development. Promote the welfare of all children. What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completion of an Initial Teacher Education programme by September 2026. Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
