Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Operative with experience working as a handyperson to join our team primarily covering the area of Bideford. This is a permanent, full time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) opportunity.
You will provide a high quality and effective maintenance and repair service to Westward properties. Within the role you will undertake general repairs, and maintenance as required in residents' homes and sheltered accommodation.
Duties for the role include:
* Collecting and delivering materials to site
* Carrying out minor repairs, painting and general labouring
* Assisting operatives with general two person tasks
* Clearing refuse and materials from sites
Is this you?
* Previous experience as a handyperson
* Relevant skill in using a range of hand tools, equipment powered hand tools and light plant machinery
* Strong communication and team working skills
* Excellent Customer Service skills
* Hold a full UK driving licence
* Able to work 40 hours per week
