Job Title: BMS Service Engineer Sector: Data Centres Location: London Overview We are seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer to support mission-critical data centre environments across London. The role focuses on servicing, fault-finding, and optimisation of Building Management Systems that support 24/7 critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Planned and reactive BMS maintenance across London-based data centres Rapid fault diagnosis and rectification within critical environments Support commissioning and system upgrades where required Optimise BMS performance to improve reliability and energy efficiency Read and interpret control drawings, schematics, and cause & effect Liaise professionally with clients, site teams, and third-party contractors Complete service reports and compliance documentation Participate in an on-call rota as required Systems & Experience Hands-on experience with BMS platforms such as Trend, Siemens, Schneider, Tridium, or similar Strong HVAC knowledge: chillers, CRAC units, AHUs, cooling systems Understanding of networked BMS systems, IP addressing, and protocols Previous experience in data centres or other critical environments preferred Requirements Proven background as a BMS Service Engineer Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Able to work independently across multiple London sites Client-facing with strong communication skills Full UK driving licence Relevant electrical / controls qualifications desirable Salary & Benefits Open salary (dependent on experience) Annual bonus Company car or car allowance Private healthcare Pension scheme Ongoing training and development
