About the Role
We are seeking an Associate to join NLC’s Distribution team to support the firm’s continued growth across fundraising, investor relations, and client coverage. The candidate should have strong foundational training in private credit while being highly organised, execution‑focused, and have existing RM capabilities or strong motivation/ capabilities to develop RM capabilities.
The role combines hands‑on execution, project management, direct investor coverage, and direct exposure to senior investors, while providing meaningful leverage to the IR and PM teams across Sublines and ABL.
Key Responsibilities
Investor materials & responsiveness
* Lead and coordinate for investor requests, ensuring bespoke marketing materials and responses are delivered accurately and on time.
* Own investor follow‑ups and maintain momentum through timely communication.
* Work with the Subline and ABL team to develop marketing materials and respond promptly to investor enquiries.
* Depending on the level of RM experience, initially cover several regions and take responsibility over investor segments together with senior team members (e.g. Consultants)
* Shadow and assist senior team members when covering large and sophisticated investors both to assist in effective coverage and also by means of developing their skills in covering sophisticated accounts.
* Constantly progress towards broader independent relationship management responsibilities.
CRM, reporting & process ownership
* Own CRM (Salesforce) data quality, reporting, and pipeline tracking.
* Upgrade fund reporting and maintain marketing materials.
* Help introduce clear processes and best practices around investor interaction.
Candidate Profile
* 3–5 years of experience in private credit (buyside or placement agent preferred).
* Fund finance and RM/ Coverage experience preferred.
* Highly organised with strong project management capabilities.
* Superior written and verbal communication skills
* Strong ethical standards and a high level of professional integrity
