We are seeking an experienced ICT Teacher to join a secondary school in Great Barr, Birmingham. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of Python and be confident teaching KS3-4 students.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons to KS3, KS4, and A-Level students.
* Teach Python programming and other relevant computing topics.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level ICT exams.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Support and inspire students with a passion for coding and technology.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching ICT at KS3, KS4, and A-Level.
* Strong knowledge of Python and other relevant programming languages.
* Ability to differentiate lessons to suit all learning abilities.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to obtain one).
