Aramark UK are currently recruiting a talented and dedicated Chef in their Education sector to join our team at Caldicot Comprehensive School.

Job Responsibilities
*
o Cooking and preparing food ready for grab & go & lunch service, ensuring minimal wastage. Supporting functions/hospitality events.
o Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
o Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals.
o Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
o Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
Key Requirements:

o Previous catering/ kitchen experience required
o Excellent team player
o Excellent communication abilities
o Understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures
