Drive your career forward with us We’re looking for a proactive Forklift Driver – General Operative to join our busy production and distribution team. What’s on Offer: Salary: £14 ph Location: Dagenham Hours: 40 hours What You’ll Be Doing Operating high-speed bagging lines to produce high-quality, retail-ready products. Providing forklift support to keep production lines running efficiently. Managing stock movements and loading heavy goods vehicles for despatch. Supporting shovel driver duties (following training) and stepping in where needed. Completing all required documentation accurately and on time. Following daily production plans and supply picking tickets. Maintaining and optimising machinery to ensure smooth operations. Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work. Key Accountabilities Accurately working to a supplied daily production plan. Ensure that all in process documentation is completed / up-to-date. Maintaining a consistent, high quality product, suitable for the retail market. Accurately working to a supply picking ticket. Ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety are maintained at all times. To ensure that the bagging lines are maintained on a regular basis. Optimise bagging line efficiencies. Job Requirements Operate bagging lines in a safe and controlled manner. Driving Forklift Trucks (When Trained) Ability top work as part of a team. Ability to be flexible when required. Ability to work within the health & safety guideline’s of the company. Education/Qualification Hold a current fork lift certificate (counterbalance certificate)(training can be provided) Why Join us?
