We are seeking a part-time (18.5 hrs pw) senior social worker for our Children’s Integrated Front Door to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a MASH/Screening Team and will be able to work at pace. The candidate should have a clear understanding of thresholds, be able to undertake risk assessments, complete safety plans, and analyse information from multiple sources to inform plans and ensure children receive the appropriate level of service at the right time. Previous experience working within a Signs of Safety framework and using Mosaic is preferred.
Working arrangements will follow this pattern: Week 1 – Mon, Tues, Wed; Week 2 – Mon, Tues. Hybrid working arrangements are in place, currently requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office during the 3-day week and 1 day during the 2-day week.
As the post will be based in a police building, the postholder must consent to vetting checks by South Yorkshire Police. WFH arrangements will be in place until vetting is completed.
