Overview
Here at More Leisure our goal is to get more people active by providing affordable safe and enjoyable lessons for all. We are recruiting for a Swimming Teacher to grow our programmes so we can continue to help people access affordable lessons regardless of ability or background.
By following the Swim England Learn to Swim framework we develop swimmers with confidence through fun and progressive lessons. Teaching our swimming lessons focuses on safe, enjoyable, and progressive instruction, and we also view teaching as a pathway for your career and personal development.
Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England framework.
* Provide excellent customer service and engage with people of all ages and backgrounds.
* Contribute to the running of the centre and support learners as they progress.
Qualifications
* Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (formerly ASA) Level 2.
* Holding a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided free of charge.
