Whilst the rotation is always under review, the current rotation is:
Medical/Respiratory
Orthopaedics
Stroke ward
Community settings, including a rehabilitation ward
Intermediate Care Team.
We are looking for enthusiastic, positive and motivated individual's that have the skills and ability to motivate and engage with their patients and can work independently. They will lead and adapt to innovation and service developments. They will support supervision and training and have the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a team. Experience of NHS working is desirable.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for individuals with great interpersonal skills to network with acute and community colleagues to co-ordinate a responsive, seamless service across pathways and sectors. The successful post holders will have organisational ability and a commitment to service development. They will develop the evidence base for evaluation through audit, clinical effectiveness and research activity. As appropriate, there will be an expectation to deputise for senior management.
As a versatile postgraduate, they will need to have a strong clinical grounding in older people rehabilitation, expertise in falls and frailty syndrome, neurological conditions, Cardio-Respiratory conditions and MSK problems. They will have a good understanding of current issues affecting community services. The post holders will work autonomously as highly skilled practitioners managing a clinical caseload of patients with diverse and complex health and social care needs. They will work alongside members of the MDT in a managerial and clinical role. They will provide clinical leadership, specialist expertise and supervision to junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy support workers, students and generic rehabilitation assistants. There will be a strong educational element to the role as a clinical expert.
