Framlingham Sir Robert Hitcham’s CEVAP School is seeking an experienced SENDCo to join our team on a short-term, part-time basis for one day per week. The role is required immediately and will run until Easter 2026, while we recruit a permanent SENDCo for April 2026. This interim position would be ideal for a current SENDCo already working part time in another school who is able to offer an additional day per week for one term. As interim SENDCo, you will lead and coordinate the school’s SEND provision for one day per week. Working closely with the headteacher, staff, families, and external professionals, you will help ensure that pupils with additional needs continue to receive high-quality support during this transition period. We are looking for someone who: is a qualified teacher with the NASENCO Award or NPQ in SEN (or working towards this) has proven experience in leading SEND provision can manage SEND processes confidently, including identification, assessment, interventions, provision mapping, and maintaining SEND records works efficiently and independently within limited time in school communicates well with pupils, staff, families and outside agencies is committed to inclusive practice and improving outcomes for learners with SEND.
