Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and providing excellent patient care. Duties
* Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy policies
* Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
* Maintain precise records of dispensed medicines and patient information
* Support medication administration processes under supervision
* Provide compassionate assistance to patients, answering queries and offering guidance on medication use
* Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
* Manage stock levels, including ordering and receiving supplies to ensure availability of medications
* Follow all legal and safety procedures related to medication handling and patient confidentiality
Experience
* Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred
* Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices is advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
* Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety and confidentiality
