An exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer has arisen to be based in Wolverhampton on the High Lift Value Stream. The position requires a highly motivated, high achieving individual reporting to the Technical Lead to take responsibility for monitoring schedule and costs on key running projects, technology and current engineering activities. The successful candidate will have a technical engineering background, possess excellent stakeholder management skills & be solution focused. Key Responsibilities: *Monitor the delivery of projects to schedule, cost & quality *Provide inputs to planning, estimation and project management activities including financial resource forecasts. Support to internal and external stakeholders, with focused presentations and meetings *Support to technology development, bids & proposals, projects and other running activities: resourcing and compliance to schedule, review programs actuals and charged labour on a regular basis, identify and report Risks & Opportunities in a timely manner *Generate Value Stream resource requirement report and harmonise resource allocation across projects and with the other Value Streams across the business *Support Engineering forecast monthly reviews with Engineering and Finance leadership *Co-ordination of a cross functional team to ensure project execution Essential skills: *Good MS Office skills, to analyse, condense and present complex data *General understanding of the product lifecycle (concept definition, qualification, launch, aftermarket support) *Excellent stakeholder management skills Desirable skills: *Knowledge of engineering resource management and program overview to forecast, including offshore and indirect engineering teams *Ability to work with multiple discipline projects *Attitude to fit an international, and multi-cultural environment *A team player and effective communicator *Able to interact at all levels with technical teams and/or project leaders *Good understanding of the EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and related monitoring and harmonization activities
