About the opportunity
The HR Services Officer will provide day-to-day service delivery and operational execution of Tier 1 transactional HR services. This may include, but is not limited to, the accurate, timely, and efficient completion of high-volume tasks using HR technology such as Workday and ServiceNow, the resolution of client enquiries and associated requests via appropriate service channels (ServiceNow, email, phone etc.), meeting HR SLAs (inclusive of Client Satisfaction), and supporting the integrity, cleanliness, and accuracy of employee data.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* manage and execute client enquiries and tasks in HR systems (e.g. ServiceNow, Workday etc.) in an effective, efficient, and timely manner
* provide transactional services which may include primary recruiter activities, onboarding, offboarding, data management, integration fail investigation and resolution, and general HR and client enquiries
* assist the Transactional & Client Services (TCS) function in operationalizing the strategic initiatives of Human Resources and assist in embedding the University's Human Resources policies and practices
* attend to immediate issues, providing timely, solutions focused responses to questions, seeking specialist assistance from within the HR portfolio as required
* provide advice, interpretation, and education to clients on HR technology (e.g. Workday) and the application of the University's policies, procedures, and framework
* performs by using metrics, benchmarks, and SLAs. Strong advocate of ServiceNow and associated performance dashboard

* excellent administrative skills, coupled with advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
