About the role St Francis, Ayr is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Principal - Religious Education. This position is a F ull-Time, Fixed Term contract commencing 19 January 2026 until 20 January 2031. This position is Assistant Principal - Religious Education with the remaining hours as a classroom teacher. The Assistant Principal - Religious Education (APRE) provides effective professional leadership by developing and nurturing the Catholic tradition and Religious Life of the School and the coordination of Religious Education. The purpose of the APRE is to exercise leadership and assist with the management of the school in accordance with Catholic Education policies and in consultation with other personnel as appropriate and with due reference to Catholic Education structures, processes and practices. The APRE is responsible for the supervision of those areas as delegated by the Principal and as designated in his/her duty statement which should be reviewed annually.
