Job Title
Echocardiographer – Band 7 – Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire – Start ASAP – 3 months – Rate £50 – £65 per hour – Working hours Monday to Friday.
Overview
An exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Band 7 Echocardiographer to join a dedicated cardiology team in Clydebank. The role involves accurate assessment and management of patients with adult transthoracic echocardiography in a supportive, well‑equipped environment.
Responsibilities
* Perform and interpret high‑quality transthoracic echocardiograms, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support clinical decision‑making.
* Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiac assessments.
* Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to departmental protocols.
* Contribute to service efficiency and maintain high patient care standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent relevant qualification
* Postgraduate qualification in Echocardiography or equivalent experience
* Current registration with RCCP or AHCS
* Proven experience in adult transthoracic echocardiography
* Competence in using a range of echocardiography equipment and software
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
* Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and continuous professional development
