About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Each team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories. Joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
In this role, you will plan and deliver care that promotes residents’ security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your duties include assisting residents with daily activities, supporting end-of-life care, communicating with families, and providing mental and physical stimulation through activities, alongside medication administration.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care and be willing to progress to Level 3 or equivalent. Knowledge of person-centered care planning and dementia care is essential. A positive attitude, good record-keeping skills, effective time management, and considerate communication are vital.
