Role Overview
Seeking a Repairs Manager for senior management of social housing repairs. Collaborate with Contracts Manager to ensure efficient delivery of responsive repairs and planned maintenance, meeting performance targets and improving resident services. Lead operational teams, resolve challenges, optimize processes, and coordinate among supervisors, planners, and admin staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership: Manage daily responsive repairs and maintenance operations to high standards and schedules.
2. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Address operational issues promptly with supervisors and planners.
3. Performance Management: Monitor KPIs and service metrics to meet contractual and regulatory standards.
4. Team Support: Lead and support supervisors, planners, and admin staff, fostering teamwork.
5. Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency enhancements.
6. Resident Focus: Minimize disruption, address issues and complaints swiftly.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear communication between management and operational teams.

Candidate Profile
* Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance management.
* Proven operational management skills with attention to detail.
* Understanding of KPIs, compliance, and performance monitoring.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience with housing repairs software (e.g., Maintain, MRI, Orchard).
