Job Summary
Tonic Health is a health and wellbeing charity supporting over 23,000 people annually across South Lincolnshire. We are seeking a creative and organised Engagement, Media & Events Coordinator to lead on fundraising events, manage communications, and build partnerships that raise awareness and generate income. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community impact, with skills in media, events, and engagement.
Key Duties
* Fundraising & Events – Plan, promote, and deliver fundraising events (e.g., community events, formal dinners, golf days) and ensure smooth operations with staff and volunteers.
* Media & Communications – Create engaging content for social media, website, newsletters, and press; grow online presence; and design promotional materials.
* Engagement & Partnerships – Build and maintain relationships with businesses, sponsors, and community organisations; seek new sponsorship and fundraising opportunities.
* Internal & External Support – Coordinate volunteer involvement, share success stories, monitor media trends, and provide regular reports on activities and outcomes.
Experience & Skills
Essential:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational ability, able to manage multiple projects.
* Confident using social media for campaigns and engagement.
* Creative thinker with fresh ideas for fundraising and outreach.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of the charity or community sector.
* Experience in marketing, PR, media, or fundraising.
* Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
