Business Development Manager (Human Rights Charity)
Location: Remote – within UK, with travel to Manchester when required | Salary: Competitive | Contract: Permanent
The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to drive business development activity, build new partnerships and generate sustainable income growth. You will develop a strong pipeline, manage key stakeholder relationships and help shape compelling propositions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver UK business development activity, generating new income and partnership opportunities aligned to organisational strategy.
* Build and manage a healthy pipeline from prospecting through to negotiation and close.
* Develop proposals, pricing and presentations, tailoring solutions to customer needs and sector requirements.
* Manage key stakeholder relationships and represent the organisation at events, meetings and partner forums.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and report on performance, pipeline and forecasts.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure propositions, delivery and customer experience remain strong.
The Candidate
* Proven track record in business development/partnerships, meeting or exceeding income targets.
* Strong consultative, solutions- based sales approach with excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
* Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders and present credibly.
* Commercially astute, organised and disciplined in pipeline management.
* Able to work independently, prioritise effectively and travel across the UK as required.
